Deposits and Payment
A deposit of 25%
of the estimated price is required to reserve an instrument or to begin construction of a
custom instrument; the balance is then due before delivery. All transactions
must be in U.S. funds or equivalent, as cash, money order, or certified bank
draft.
Credit cards
are accepted directly or through PayPal
Personal
checks are accepted, but must clear before the instrument can be
shipped.
Final satisfaction of CITES or any other necessary export/import
regulations are the responsibility of the owner.
Standard and Custom Instrument Return Policy
In general, all instruments must be paid for in full
before delivery. I have a 7-day "Right of First Refusal" policy, so if you
are not satisfied for any reason you may return the instrument for a full
refund, less any shipping expenses. In the case of standard instruments, the
purchase price will be refunded immediately upon return of the instrument;
for custom instruments, refund of the purchase price will be contingent on
resale of the instrument. (Here, I define a "custom instrument" as one which
is different enough from my standard instruments that I believe it will be
more difficult for me to sell to someone else. I will offer a refused
instrument to clients on my waiting list, but I cannot guarantee that I will
be able to resell a custom instrument.) If an instrument is not returned in
original condition, the cost of restoration will be deducted.
Prices do not include shipping and
are subject to change without notice
